If you are experiencing issues loading the game, especially on a low spec system, disabling the intro video may help.

You can skip the intro video by adding a command to the game's Steam Launch Options.

1. Open Steam > Library
2. Right Click on Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Editon and select Properties
3. Click on General
4. Add -skipvid to the launch options
