You can't access your save game files from the Campaigns or Trails, can't access your shields or your name requires entering each time you run the game.  

 

Stronghold Crusader 2 creates save games and other profile information in the Documents\Stronghold Crusader 2 folder. If the game cannot access that folder for some reason, this will create problems saving games etc.

Rename the Documents\Stronghold Crusader 2 folder when Stronghold Crusader 2 next runs a new folder will be created, then you can move the contents of your old Stronghold Crusader 2 folder into the new one.
