MSI Afterburner (and similar tools) are used to monitor CPU, GPU and Memory performance in games.  Running MSI Afterburner while playing Stronghold/Stronghold Crusader can cause performance issues.

Please ensure MSI Afterburner or other monitoring tools are not running while playing Stronghold/Stronghold Crusader.
